OMG!

Its been ages since I wrote an entry for my blog....where has the time gone? I was full of good intensions during the "No rugby" season, and low and behold we have been back into "rugby" season for ages and I still have not done any posts....that is terrible. I will try and do better.

I have been rather busy with one thing and another since my last post so the next few entries will probably be somewhat out to sync!

Unfortunately there has not been too much on the knitting front, mainly due to a continued painful shoulder, which now transpires to be a torn deltoid muscle! I have no idea how this happened. I was injured at work about 6 months ago and it got better, but over a few days in the last 2 weeks it flared up for no apparent reason at all. This has meant for interesting times in the gg household. Due to the amount of pain I was in and the inability to move my left arm, I was struggling to get dressed/undressed, brush/wash my hair, put on/off lights, carry/drink a cup of coffee etc....so knitting really was totally out of the question. However I have managed to have one FO during this period. I will try and remember to take a pic and then post it.

In August we celebrated my mum and dads golden wedding (50 years married!!!!) with a big family get together, which was really great. It gave us all a chance to catch up with family and friends that we don't see very often.

Here they are opening a bottle of champagne. It was such a beautiful day they did this out in the garden..........saved anything getting broken by flying corks!!!!!!

We had a party in the local village hall at night, where mum's original wedding dress took pride of place. It was surprisingly in remarkable condition for 50 years old.

Oh well thats going to have to do for now as I'm at work and actually need to go and do some!!!

All being well I will post more tomorrow.

50 years? Congratulations to them! And the dress does still look remarkable.
